If you are a family member or friend of someone who has hoarding behaviours and you feel that this impacts on you then this event is being held for you to gain a better understanding and be better equipped at helping your relative or friend whilst also taking care of you.
Hoarding is a complex condition. Our aim is to help those impacted by hoarding to gain a better understanding of this disorder and be better equipped at helping and taking care of themselves, whilst potentially supporting those with hoarding behaviours.
This event will cover the topic of “Understanding Hoarding” and will be facilitated by:
- Rachel Cambell, Social Prescriber.
- Jo Cooke, from Hoarding Disorders UK CIC.
- Jayne Davis, Social Care Professional.
- Kat Hudson, Decluttering and Hoarding Consultant from The Hummingbird Effect.
- Amanda Malloy, qualified mediator and experienced personal resilience trainer.
- Tania Matchett, NLP Coach/Trainer with personal lived experience of Hoarding Disorder.
It will be held on zoom on Wednesday 6th November 2024 between 18.30pm to 19.45pm GMT. There will be the opportunity to ask questions and we will monitor the chat.
Numbers are restricted to twelve people but we will open a waiting list and look to schedule for sessions once we gauge the response and interest in putting on more events.
